Connecticut requirements and review scope
- CCSG-1 worksheet; weekly net income, health care, child care, and arrearages. Use Connecticut Child Support and Arrearage Guidelines to determine the amounts counted for each party.
- Wages, dividends, interest, business earnings, and other countable income are added separately for each party. Enter each dollar once; do not repeat business profit as an owner distribution.
- General asset balances, loan balances, and household spending are not collected in this support-calculation workflow. Enter countable earnings from assets. A separate court financial affidavit may require additional disclosures.
- Business and rental deductions must be expenses allowed for support, which can differ from tax-return deductions. Do not deduct personal living expenses as business expenses.
- This worksheet needs state-permitted tax and other deductions. Enter the guideline tax deduction, not take-home pay or every deduction shown on a pay stub. Automatic tax preparation is not provided.
- Uses Connecticut RCSA § 46b-215a-2c, effective August 1, 2026, and the Schedule of Basic Child Support Obligations posted to the Connecticut eRegulations System on March 11, 2026.
- Connecticut uses weekly net income after allowable deductions; line 15 combined net weekly income is rounded to the nearest ten dollars for the schedule lookup.
- The schedule amount is the weekly basic child support obligation and each parent’s share is determined by that parent’s percentage of combined net weekly income, rounded to the nearest whole percentage under §46b-215a-2c(c)(4).
- This base module handles the ordinary two-parent worksheet table. Low-income obligor darker-shaded schedule handling, Social Security dependency benefits, health care, child care, arrearage payments, multi-parent worksheets, shared physical custody and deviations require the full Connecticut worksheet.
- For combined net weekly income above $6,000, the $6,000 schedule amount is the minimum presumptive support amount and the final order is case-specific.
The available formula is a limited base calculation. Full parity with every line of the official worksheet, custody arrangement, tax computation, credit, and discretionary adjustment has not been verified. Review the stated limitations and the official sources.
