Legal notices and limitations
Guideline Calculator is an independent educational website. It is not a court, government agency, child support enforcement agency, law firm, lawyer referral service, tax advisor, financial advisor, filing provider, or certified court calculator.
Estimate-only disclosure
The calculators, worksheets, exports, guides, and state pages provide independent estimates and educational explanations only. They are not official court calculations, court orders, legal advice, financial advice, tax advice, or court-certified software output. A court may order more or less support based on the facts of the case, statutory deviations, local rules, evidence, and judicial discretion.
No attorney-client relationship
Using this website, reading its guides, or downloading a worksheet does not create an attorney-client relationship, accountant-client relationship, fiduciary relationship, or confidential professional relationship. Do not send confidential case facts to the site operator unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
No filing or deadline service
The site does not file documents, serve papers, calculate court deadlines, confirm jurisdiction, determine venue, or monitor changes in your case. If a deadline, hearing, support enforcement issue, protective order, garnishment, contempt matter, or custody dispute is pending, use official court resources or qualified professional help.
No government endorsement
References to courts, agencies, statutes, regulations, worksheets, forms, or public guidance are for source attribution and user education. They do not imply endorsement, approval, certification, or partnership by any government body.
State-law and source changes
Support guidelines, income definitions, tables, forms, local practices, and agency instructions can change. A module marked active means it has been implemented against the cited public sources available during review; it does not guarantee that every possible scenario, local form, deviation, or later rule update is covered.
Exports and court presentation
PDF, PDF, and print outputs are worksheet-style summaries intended to help users organize numbers and assumptions. They are not official court forms unless the page expressly identifies an official form and the user independently confirms that the form is accepted in the relevant court.
Advertising and third-party services
Editorial pages may display labeled advertising. Advertisements, analytics tools, external court links, Google services, and other third-party resources operate under their own terms and privacy practices. Advertising does not influence calculator formulas or state-rule status.
Accessibility notice
The site is built to support accessible use and aims to follow WCAG 2.2 AA practices where practical. Accessibility feedback and accommodation requests are handled under the Accessibility statement.
