What the worksheet asks for

Common categories include wages, bonuses, dividends and interest, business or company income, self-employment adjustments, existing support obligations, debts assigned by order, health insurance, child care, tuition, extraordinary expenses, and parenting time.
Sources and limits
- Uses North Dakota HHS Child Support Guidelines Calculator workbook updated January 1, 2026 and N.D. Admin. Code ch. 75-02-04.1, effective July 1, 2023.
- Worksheet 2 converts total annual net income to monthly net income, rounds the monthly figure to the nearest $100, caps the lookup at $25,000, and applies the child-count column in the guidelines table.
- N.D. Admin. Code § 75-02-04.1-10 determines the child support amount from the obligor’s monthly net income and the number of children for whom support is sought.
- This base module assumes the ordinary primary-residential-responsibility scenario. Multiple families, extended parenting time, foster care, split/equal residential responsibility, deductions/tax derivation and rebuttal factors require the full North Dakota worksheet/calculator.
