What the worksheet asks for
The calculator workflow starts with the selected state, then walks through both parties’ income, assets, debts, and state-specific particulars. Countable income streams feed each party’s formula income; balances and non-automated adjustments are disclosed separately. Common categories include wages, bonuses, dividends and interest, business or company income, self-employment adjustments, existing support obligations, debts assigned by order, health insurance, child care, tuition, extraordinary expenses, and parenting time.
Sources and limits
- Uses Pennsylvania Code Rule 1910.16-3 Basic Child Support Schedule, effective January 1, 2026.
- Rule 1910.16-4 allocates the basic child support obligation by each party’s monthly net-income percentage.
- For combined monthly net income above $30,000, Rule 1910.16-3.1 applies the presumptive-minimum-plus-percentage high-income formula before income-share apportionment.
- For more than six children, Rule 1910.16-4(b) adds the difference between the six-child and five-child obligations for each child over six.
- Spousal support/APL sequencing, Social Security derivative benefit credits, substantial/shared custody, split custody, additional expenses, low-income treatment and deviations require the full Pennsylvania worksheet.
